Spider-Man star Tom Holland’s brother Harry Holland was a cameo for the latest Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
Variety reported that George Cottle, stunt coordinator and second unit director for Deadpool and Wolverine, revealed on his Instagram Stories that Harry Holland was a stunt team member.
“When [Shawn Levy] and [Ryan Reynolds] set the bar so f****** high, even the stunt team needed a special guest star!! It may not [be] the Holland the world wanted, but it was the Holland we all needed!!” Cottle wrote with a behind-the-scenes photo of Harry Holland as Deadpool’s stunt double.
“Harry Holland, You smashed it, my friend,” Cottle added, with the hashtag #Haroldpool.
The photo showed Holland smiling while wearing a Deadpool suit and holding his mask. His smile resembles that of his brother, Tom Holland.
Many, including Reynolds, were surprised to see Holland’s impressive stunt performance.
Expressing his astonishment, Reynolds reposted the story with the caption, “This is how I find out? You tell me?”
This isn’t Holland’s first appearance in a Marvel film. Although his cameo didn’t make the final cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home, his scene as a bicycle thief alongside his brother Tom can be seen on Spider-Man: No Way Home—The More Fun Stuff Version. Tom Holland created a buzz among Marvel Fans by uploading a photo with his brother on set.
Harry Holland is a film director, writer, and actor; Tom Holland’s youngest brother, Paddy Holland, works as a child actor.
Deadpool and Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, grossed $211 million in its opening week, making it the sixth-largest opening in history.
