BTS member V’s solo track “Love Me Again” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.

“Love Me Again” is from V’s first solo album, Layover, released in September 2023. The music video premiered ahead of the album’s release last August. As of 1 AM KST on August 3, it had crossed 100 million views.

The music video for “Love Me Again” was filmed in a cave located in Mallorca, Spain. The enigmatic cave background, alongside V’s captivating vocals, created a mystical, unique atmosphere. Old camcorder edits within the video enhance the song’s nostalgic feelings about lost love.

“Love Me Again” is a cozy track that blends 1970s soul sound with elements of gospel and jazz. V’s deep voice adds a dreamy quality to the track, adding to its mystical vibe. The song ranked #96 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last August, marking V’s second entry on the Hot 100 as a solo artist. It also ranked #2 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Digital Single Ranking and #10 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart, dominating charts at a high rank across the globe.

Based on the music videos posted on BTS’s official YouTube channel, V has added another 100 million-view music videos to his belt. This follows his self-composed song “Winter Bear” and the solo track “Singularity” from BTS’s third studio album, LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear, released in 2018.
