As 2NE1 marks its 15th anniversary, it made headlines by uploading a new video to its official YouTube channel for the first time in seven years.
YG Entertainment, on the 17th, released a video titled “[On-Site Cam] CL – ‘The Baddest Female’ + ‘Mentally Breakdown (MTBD)’ in TREASURE RELAY TOUR [REBOOT] FINAL IN SEOUL” on the 2NE1 YouTube channel.
This video features CL’s surprise guest performance at a boy band TREASURE’s concert on the 15th. It is the first new upload to the 2NE1 YouTube channel in approximately seven years, which has only heightened fans’ excitement.
In the video, CL delivers solo performances of “The Baddest Female” and “Mentally Breakdown,” showcasing her commanding stage presence.
Toward the end of the video, YG Entertainment’s Chief Producer, Yang Hyun Suk, is seen giving prolonged applause, highlighting his admiration for CL’s performance. CL’s guest appearance at the TREASURE’s concert also demonstrated the strong bonds between senior and junior artists, adding a heartwarming element to the event.
The recent buzz around CL’s activities and the YouTube upload has further increased anticipation for 2NE1’s 15th-anniversary concert. Earlier, 2NE1 sold out their anniversary concert in Seoul and announced additional performances due to overwhelming fan support.

2NE1 debuted in 2009 and quickly became a leading K-pop girl group with a string of hit songs. Their debut track, “Fire,” was followed by hits like “I Don’t Care,” “I Am the Best,” and “Can’t Nobody.”
In November 2016, 2NE1 announced its disbandment after its contract with YG Entertainment had expired. However, their reunion for a 15th-anniversary concert this year has generated significant excitement.
