On September 1, BTS member Jungkook thanked ARMY on the fan community platform Weverse for the kind birthday wishes. “Thank you so much for celebrating my birthday,” he said.

He also shared, “I’m doing well. I’ll make sure to finish my military service in good health.” He also wished ARMY well and hoped they would stay healthy, showing his love for his fans.

Jungkook, born on September 1, 1997, celebrated his 26th birthday this year.

J-Hope also sent a congratulatory message saying, “Happy birthday to my brother. Let’s stay healthy and finish our service.” RM celebrated Jungkook’s birthday by sharing a photo of Jungkook’s solo album GOLDEN and a birthday cake emoji on his social media.

BTS is currently on a military hiatus with all members, except for the eldest Jin, who completed his service in June and is actively serving in the military.

Jungkook and Jimin enlisted in December at the Army’s 5th Infantry Division training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. Jungkook is serving as a cook.

He showed fans his military life in March, sharing, “I’m doing well. I’m diligently working out, cleaning thoroughly, and cooking well.”
