BTS’ J-Hope has recently made headlines for purchasing two high-end apartments, each valued at 10 billion won (approximately $7.45 million).
According to BizHankook, J-Hope purchased a penthouse unit at the Aper Han River in June for 12 billion won (around US$8.94 million) in cash. He also secured a lower-floor unit in the same building, paying the remaining balance and officially transferring ownership.
The Aper Han River penthouse features a duplex layout with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an exclusive area of 273.86㎡ and 363.63㎡. The lower-floor unit J-Hope acquired includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a single-floor layout with an exclusive area of 70 pyeong (232.86㎡) and a total area of 91 pyeong (299.68㎡).
The market price for apartments at Aper Han River ranges between 11 billion won (around $8.20 million) and 12 billion won (around $8.94 million). J-Hope, it is estimated, purchased both units entirely in cash, without any mortgage.
As a prominent figure among the young and affluent in the entertainment industry, J-Hope also owns two units in the Trimage apartment complex in Seongsu-dong and properties at Apera Han River.
Meanwhile, J-Hope enlisted in the Army as an active-duty soldier in April last year and served as a drill instructor at the 36th Division White Tiger Training Center. He is expected to be discharged on October 17.
