BTS’s Jimin talks about their new nickname and future daughter.

In the latest episode of Disney+’s Are You Sure?!, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook take viewers on a memorable trip to Sapporo, showcasing their charming camaraderie.

During their November 2023 visit to the Japanese city, Jimin reminisced, “It’s been a while. Has it really been seven years since I was last here?” Jungkook added, “We must have mentioned wanting to visit Sapporo without even realizing it. I remember a brief visit from back when we were working.” Jimin continued, “I wanted to return because of the great memories, like soaking in hot springs with the members.” Jungkook explained, “Since our first trip was to Tokyo, we wanted to revisit Japan.”

Upon arriving in Sapporo, Jungkook was thrilled with the weather, saying, “It is perfect. Exactly the winter weather I wanted.” At their first accommodation, he immediately started drinking a beer, prompting Jimin to comment, “Starting with beer, huh?” and join him.

The episode also featured Jimin reflecting on a memorable experience with children during a performance recording. He said, “I worked with some kids while recording a stage for one of my album tracks. They kept calling me Hyung (older brother) but ended up writing me a letter calling me Uncle Jimin. I told them to call me Hyung, but they insisted on Uncle.” When Jungkook asked if the kids knew of age differences, Jimin said, “Well, I am an uncle. There’s a 20-year age gap.” Jungkook joked, “Trying calling me Uncle Jungkook—it’s not easy,” which made everyone laugh.

Their visit also included a stop at a convenience store, where Jungkook, admiring the snowy scenery, took a tumble. Jimin couldn’t help but laugh. At the store, Jungkook exclaimed, “This is amazing,” as he devoured a tuna mayo rice ball. When Jimin suggested, “It’s better to wash things before eating,” Jungkook replied, “I said we should have washed up first.” Jimin countered, “We could wash up and eat inside,” but Jungkook insisted, “It’s too late now,” leading to a playful exchange that made them both smile.

As they wrapped up their shopping and settled in for a late-night snack, Jungkook joked, “I’m gaining weight even today,” he and Jimin enjoyed a late-night snack. After finishing the rice balls, Jimin said, “When I was in Korea, I managed my diet by eating just one meal daily. I wasn’t starving then, but now I’m eating everything in sight.” Jungkook added, “You should stop when you feel this full, but I end up eating five times more. I stop when I can’t take it anymore. I should have been on Problematic Men(The Brainiacs).”

Jimin’s thoughts turned sentimental the next day as he spotted a young girl at the train station. “If I had a daughter,” he mused, “I think I would always be emotional. I’d tell her, ‘You mustn’t grow up.'” Jimin reflected on his feelings about having a daughter, revealing a soft, imaginative side.
