The board of directors has removed Min Hee Jin from her position as CEO of ADOR, but NewJeans continues to show their affection and support for her.

NewJeans won four awards at the 2024 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA) on Sunday at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan. The group was honored with Artist of the Year, Worldwide Icon, Best Performer, and Popularity Award.

Danielle expressed her gratitude during their acceptance speech, saying, “So many people helped us get to this stage. I want to thank our amazing staff, performance directors, and bunnies.”

She added, “We truly love and appreciate Min Hee Jin, who has always cared for and supported us.” This was her heartfelt message to the former CEO.

After receiving the Worldwide Icon award, Hyein also expressed her thanks, saying, “I want to say this as if it were the last time. Thank you so much, and I love you, our CEO.” She conveyed her support for Min Hee Jin.

In April, a management conflict emerged between ADOR’s parent company, HYBE, and Min Hee Jin. On August 28, the board officially dismissed Min Hee Jin as CEO of ADOR.

At the time, Min Hee Jin’s representatives protested, claiming the dismissal was unilateral. However, ADOR stated, “The ADOR board followed all legal procedures in the Commercial Act and company bylaws for notice and voting.” “The meeting date was chosen from the dates Min Hee Jin had requested to postpone, and she participated via video conference,” they added.

Following her dismissal, Minji shared her feelings on the fan communication platform Phoning on the 2nd. She said, “I wanted to tell and comfort the many Bunnies who came to visit and support us that everything is okay, but I felt unsure this time.” She added, “Even a day is not enough to share only good news, and I feel so sorry that we have to go through such unnecessary trouble. I’m frustrated that I can’t resolve anything.”
