As Fifty Fifty reveals its title track, the three former members who left the group have launched official accounts to announce its upcoming activities.
According to its agency, Attrakt, Fifty Fifty unveiled the tracklist for its second mini-album, Love Tune.
Love Tune, which is releasing today, will feature six tracks: the title track, “SOS,” along with “Push Your Love,” “Starry Night,” “Gravity,” an English version of “Starry Night,” and “SOS.”
The mini-album will include both the title track “SOS” and the English version of “Starry Night,” which has gained significant popularity since its pre-release on the 30th, further raising anticipation.
Since its debut in November 2022, Fifty Fifty has garnered global acclaim with its debut album, The Beginning: Cupid, particularly with the title track “Cupid,” which hit the Billboard Hot 100.
However, just before the members were scheduled to receive their payments in June 2023, they filed a lawsuit against Attrakt over their exclusive contracts, leading to a tampering controversy. Tampering involves an artist contacting other agencies before their current contract expires. Keena withdrew her appeal just before the appellate ruling, allowing her to return to the group. Attrakt is pursuing a 13 billion won ($9.7 million) damage claim against the three former members. Following this, Attrakt restructured Fifty Fifty by adding Chanelle, Yewon, Hana, and Athena, forming a new five-member group.
The three former members—Aran, Saena, and Sio—have signed with Massive VNC and are set to embark on new activities.
Massive E&C, a label under NSNEM (formerly IOK Company), announced today the launch of an official account to update fans on the activities of the three former Fifty Fifty members.
In their first post, Massive E&C stated, “Please note that the accounts previously known through the company’s and members’ social media are not officially operated by us.” They added, “We are currently preparing new music and content for Aran, Saena, and Sio. The members’ official team name and social media accounts will be revealed in the future.”
As Fifty Fifty begins this new chapter, public interest is growing in the activities of the three former members.
