Jennie from BLACKPINK has announced her highly anticipated solo comeback in partnership with Columbia Records, a leading U.S. label under Sony Music Entertainment. Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER), revealed yesterday that she will release a new single this October.

Columbia Records, known for its roster of top international artists such as Beyoncé, Adele, and Harry Styles, will significantly support Jennie’s solo project.

Jennie will release her new solo track about a year after her special single “You & Me” from October of the previous year. Her exceptional talent across various music genres has generated significant buzz, and her global fanbase eagerly awaits her return.

In addition, Jennie continues to break records. Her collaboration with The Weeknd and actress Lily-Rose Depp, “One Of The Girls,” has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify and spent 20 consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100. Jennie also made history by becoming the first Korean female solo artist to receive platinum certification from the RIAA.

Moreover, Jennie achieved another milestone in April when the music video for her solo track “SOLO” surpassed 1 billion views. This makes her the first K-pop female artist to reach this impressive landmark. With her significant global influence and record-breaking achievements, fans eagerly anticipate what Jennie will do next.
