Korean actress Song Hye Kyo has generated buzz by discussing her upcoming projects.
She visited Taiwan recently to promote a skincare brand. According to China Press, Song commented on her next work at the event, saying, “I’m not 100% sure yet, but there will be good news soon.”
Known for her stunning looks, Song Hye Kyo shared that she never anticipated being viewed as a youthful beauty. “I want to age slowly. Aging itself is not an issue,” she stated. The actress expressed gratitude for being able to take on roles that reflect her age and continue her acting career.
She also reflected on her role in the Netflix series The Glory, which gained significant attention last year. She discussed her character, Moon Dong Eun, who seeks revenge against her school bullies, and said, “I had a lot of concerns about how to approach this role. I was worried because the script was very intense.” She emphasized the script’s quality as a reason for her initial apprehension.
Song Hye Kyo noted that playing Moon Dong Eun has been pivotal in her development as an actress. “I approached the project gradually, and it turned out to be less burdensome than I thought.” She hinted at embracing new challenges in her career, stating, “I wouldn’t mind cutting my hair short or wearing completely different clothes.”
Expressing her delight at the warm welcome from fans in Taiwan, she said, “I will carefully choose my next project and work hard during filming.” She reassured her fans, “I will never let you down,” wishing everyone an enjoyable remainder of 2024.
In addition, reports suggest that Song Hye Kyo is considering a role in the upcoming series Show Business (working title).
