Virtual artist Nævis recently showcased her unique talents in a video released on Thursday on the YouTube channel MMTG, titled “Meet Nævis from KWANGYA.”
The video features Nævis, SM Entertainment’s new solo artist and the label’s first virtual performer. Conceptually, she emerges from the digital world—known as the Wilderness—to open a portal to the real world.
Nævis remarked, “Since I come from the digital world, changing my face is my specialty. ” She then demonstrated five different versions of her face on the spot. MC Jaejae commented, “Each version has its own personality, so I think viewers will really enjoy them.”
When comparing Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and aespa’s Winter, Nævis stated, “I frequently hear that I resemble both of them. It must be an SM trait,” adding, “I’m honored that people consider me pretty.”
Nævis also shared personal details about her education and height. She mentioned, “Since coming to the real world, my height in human form is 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches),” adding, “I’m majoring in K-POP as a solo artist at Kwangya Cyber University.”
In response to a question about her family background, Nævis playfully joked, “There isn’t exactly one, but the Wilderness is my origin,” which drew laughter from the audience. Naivis officially began her activities after releasing her single “Done” on September 10. The song symbolizes her first step toward freedom, representing a journey away from the constraints of her past.
