Former FIFTY FIFTY Members Re-Debut as ‘ablume’ Amid Ongoing Legal Dispute

MASSIVE E&C

Former FIFTY FIFTY members Aran, Saena, and Sio are set to re-debut as a new girl group called “ablume.” They officially announced the formation of the group yesterday through their new agency, NS ENM, under the label MASSIVE E&C. The name ablume is inspired by the German word Blume, which means growth and the process of blooming.

MASSIVE E&C stated, “Just as a small seed grows into a beautiful flower, the three members will discover their unique colors based on their individual charms and potential, combining them to create diverse music.” Ablume has launched its official social media accounts and plans to start sharing various content today.

MASSIVE E&C CEO Hwang Choi Han Cho emphasized the importance of engaging with both domestic and international fans, stating, “Now that Aran, Saena, and Sio have united as a new girl group, they will showcase a more diverse side of themselves as a team.”

FIFTY FIFTY made a significant impact last year by debuting and reaching number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with its hit song “Cupid,” earning the group recognition as a miracle of small agencies.

However, the members filed for a suspension of their exclusive contracts with their agency, ATTRAKT, which halted their activities. Member Keena returned to ATTRAKT during this process while Saena, Aran, and Sio continued their legal dispute. Subsequently, ATTRAKT restructured FIFTY FIFTY around Keena and resumed their activities. Recently, MASSIVE E&C signed exclusive contracts with the remaining members, further intensifying the ongoing legal battle.
