Singer Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) recently revealed that he once dreamed of retiring from the music industry. In a new episode of the YouTube channel Season B Season, he shared his experience at a luxury pool by the iconic Bondi Beach in Australia.
During the episode, Rain stated, “I came to Sydney to perform,” as he turned on the camera. At the cruise terminal, he remarked, “The weather is so nice. It’s cool but sunny, so I’m wearing sunglasses to avoid the sun,” referencing his song “How to Avoid the Sun.” He also reminisced, “I filmed my debut album Bad Man in Australia, and I remember that time quite well.”
Rain reflected on his past aspirations, sharing, “I once thought I would retire by 31 or 32, find a place in vibrant cities like New York or Sydney, and enjoy a romantic lifestyle while working part-time. However, I soon realized that a regular job is quite challenging, so I let that dream go.” When a staff member laughed, he joked, “Why are you laughing? Is the job tough? Is it hard to work with me?” prompting laughter from everyone present.
He also addressed comments about his leg workouts, saying, “When I was in LA recently, I didn’t do much leg exercise, and people noticed. I’ve mentioned this many times, but since I dance, my leg workouts happen naturally. I can’t have thick legs if I want to wear stage outfits.” He added, “If I eventually retire from singing, I’d like to focus on leg workouts professionally. The glutes are important, so I make sure to keep those muscles active.”
Afterward, Rain visited the area near the Opera House, where he lay down for staff photos. The following day, he enjoyed some swimming at Bondi Beach.
