Lee Hyun Joo, a former member of the girl group APRIL, has recently disclosed a hacking incident and urged caution among her followers. On Monday, she took to social media to express her frustration, stating, “Why does this keep happening? This is already the second hacking incident.”

She shared her feelings, saying, “I am taking measures, but I’m worried and scared, which is why I’m sharing this,” and encouraged everyone to stay vigilant. Lee Hyun Joo gained significant attention in 2021 due to the controversy surrounding bullying allegations within APRIL.

At that time, her sister claimed, “It was reported that my sister left APRIL to pursue acting, but that is not true. She faced severe bullying and ostracism within the group, which led to panic attacks and difficulty breathing. Ultimately, she even attempted suicide.”

In response, the members of APRIL filed a defamation lawsuit against Lee Hyun Joo, but the court ultimately found her not guilty.

Recently, YouTuber KwakTube featured former APRIL member Na Eun on his channel, bringing the past bullying incident back into the spotlight and drawing renewed attention to Lee Hyun Joo.

Since leaving APRIL, Lee Hyun Joo has participated in THE UNI+ and was active in the project group UNI.T. She has also expanded her career as an actress, appearing in productions such as Sisters On The Road, Welcome, The Witch Shop, and It Was Spring.
