Actress Jung So Min has garnered attention for playfully calling her co-star Jung Hae In from Love Next Door, a lookalike of a sea otter. On Monday, the Harper’s BAZAAR Korea channel uploaded a video titled “So Sweet! ♡ Jung Hae In and Jung So Min appear ♡ #If you’re curious about the couple’s reviews?”
In a face-to-face interview, Jung Hae In responded, “What similarities do you see between your character in ‘Love Next Door’ and yourself?” He stated, “At the production conference, I mentioned that I share 99% of my traits with Seung Hyo, and the remaining 1% is Jung So Min’s presence. For starters, Seung Hyo and I look alike, and we’re both introverted.”
Jung So Min added, “I relate to my character because I have a younger brother and a sense of responsibility as the eldest daughter. I also have a personality that demands perfection within my abilities, similar to Seok Ryu.”
Reflecting on her final day of filming for Love Next Door, Jung So Min shared, “I didn’t realize it was the last day. I asked them to step in if I started crying, but they both just said, ‘It’s over.’ I still miss being on set.”
Jung Hae In remarked, “We had great chemistry on set. We joked around a lot, and the director was very supportive. Jung So Min put a lot of effort into preparing the script and making various suggestions. It was a collaborative process of discovering those memorable moments together.”
When asked that day, “What do you think each other’s faces resemble?” Jung Hae In laughed and replied, “Jung So Min has traits of both a cat and a rabbit. If you look at her teeth, she resembles a rabbit, but her eyes are like a cat’s.”
In response, Jung So Min laughed and said, “That’s a terrible hybrid!” She then playfully added, “Jung Hae In gives off vibes of both an otter and a sea otter. He looks like he could come from the animated show Bono Bono.”
