Chef Triple Star, known for his role as Culinary Class Wars (real name Kang Seung Won), boldly appeared at a recent event in Seoul, undeterred by ongoing controversies surrounding his personal life and allegations of embezzlement. The celebrity chef seemed unfazed by serious accusations from his ex-wife and former girlfriend.
On Sunday, a special pop-up event celebrating the 2024 A50BR Seoul occurred at the Mood Anchor on Sebit Island in Banpo-dong, Seocho District, Seoul. Despite the swirling controversies, Chef Triple Star attended as planned.
The star-studded culinary affair, overseen by renowned Chef Anh Sung Jae, showcased a variety of signature dishes from a lineup of celebrity chefs. A photo of Triple Star and Chef Anh collaborating on a dish quickly gained traction on social media, drawing significant attention.
This marked Triple Star’s first public appearance since the allegations surfaced and drew scrutiny from fans and the media.
Just days prior, on October 30, Dispatch released a report featuring serious claims from Triple Star’s ex-wife and his former girlfriend.
Reports indicate that Triple Star and his ex-wife met in the U.S. in 2014 and lived together as a married couple without officially registering their marriage until their divorce just three months later, in May 2022. She alleged that she assisted him in securing a restaurant job by using a luxury handbag as a bribe and claimed frequent arguments over his alleged infidelities marred their relationship.
In her statements, Triple Star’s ex-girlfriend also accused him of cheating, saying, “We were dating like any normal couple, and then one day I was left in the dark without any explanation for the sudden breakup.” On October 31, reports surfaced that Triple Star faced accusations of embezzlement in a business-related case, but he has yet to respond to these allegations.
