Actress Kim Sejeong recently shared her thoughts on an upcoming kissing scene with co-star Lee Jong Won in the romantic drama Brewing Love

The pair made a special appearance as guests on the web series Zzanbro hosted by Shin Dong Yup, where they entertained viewers with their witty banter and offered a glimpse behind the scenes.

Brewing Love centers on the romance between a top sales executive at a major corporation who hides her emotions and the head of a brewery who is highly attuned to others’ feelings.

In the drama, Kim Sejeong plays a passionate and driven saleswoman. She revealed, “Tomorrow, we’re filming a kiss scene. It was supposed to happen last week but got delayed because I caught a cold. I’m trying to enjoy the filming of Zzanbro, but the kiss scene is the next day, so I have to balance that!”

Kim admitted feeling nervous before filming, saying, “I was worried before today’s recording, “Will we be okay? Will we pull this off? But as soon as I stepped into the studio and saw Lee Jong Won smiling brightly, I realized all my worries were gone.”

Lee Jong Won laughed, “I’m just focused on today. We have great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere right here. How could I not enjoy this moment?”

Host Shin, known for his playful humor, quipped, “Well, that’s fair. If only one of you smells like alcohol before the kiss scene, that could be awkward. But if you both do, no problem!” He then shared a funny anecdote about an actor who filmed a bed scene on their first day on set, gushing, “I’m such a fan!” to their co-star.

Kim Sejeong thoughtfully responded to Shin’s comment, saying, “Actually, it might be better this way. If we build up our image first, certain aspects can get exaggerated, or people might dislike them. But if we film an intimate scene early without preconceived ideas, viewers will naturally see it with a love filter.”

When Shin Dong Yup jokingly asked, “Do you do any prep work before a kiss scene? Like brushing your teeth or applying lip balm—doesn’t that count as preparation?” Kim Sejeong smiled and replied, “Of course! That’s basic preparation! It’s like laying the foundation for a building, like putting down rebar. It’s just expected; nothing special.”

In addition to her professional insights, Kim Sejeong also shared her personal approach to love. She confessed, “I used to fall in love quickly. Once I was in love, I would get swept away by wanting to do everything for the other person. But as I got older, I realized that what I felt wasn’t love for the person, but more for the idea of being in love.”

She continued, “I was more in love with the feeling of liking someone rather than actually liking the person themselves. Now, I try to be more thoughtful and wise about my feelings.”

Kim also shared her stance on public relationships, explaining, “I don’t believe in public relationships. Even if you think you’ve found the one, life can still surprise you,” offering a deeper perspective on her viewpoint.
