Actress Han Ga In recently shared a funny yet painful story about her first encounter with Buldak Bokkeummyeon (Korean spicy chicken noodles), revealing that it ended with a trip to the emergency room.

On Wednesday, Han uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel titled “The Secret Supplements Han Ga In Takes Three Times a Day for Perfect Skin.”

Known for her meticulous skincare routine, Han Ga In showcased a table full of her favorite supplements. Playfully, she quipped, “Is it normal to have this many supplements in one house?” as she displayed her collection, offering fans a glimpse into her health regimen.

In response to the production team’s question about the secret behind her radiant skin, Han explained, “Let’s call it my secret to staying youthful. I have a sensitive stomach, so if I eat something wrong, it can throw off my whole system. For me, it all starts with digestion. When my digestion is on point, everything else falls into place — I feel better, my skin looks better, and I have more energy.”

She then introduced a digestive enzyme supplement, saying, “If you take it before a meal, it can help with weight management, and if you take it after, it boosts your energy and supports digestion. I take it three times a day.”

Han Ga In also opened up about her sensitive stomach and recalled a hilarious (but painful) experience. She revealed that she ended up in the ER after trying Buldak Bokkeummyeon for the first time during a recent shoot. “I went to the ER for a stomach check, but everything returned fine. I was in so much pain that day, and the next morning, I couldn’t even sit up because I felt terrible,” she said with a laugh.

Han Ga In also shared her love for probiotics, explaining, “The cells in your intestines need to be tightly connected, but when not, harmful substances can leak in and cause allergies. This is what they call leaky gut, and I have it. Probiotics are great for that, though they can be a bit pricey,” she added, giving fans insight into her health routine.

Han Ga In then delved into her inner beauty routine, sharing some of her favorite health tips. “For women, it’s all about hair and skin,” she said. “I swear by polyphenols to boost youthfulness. It’s cacao – just a piece or two does the trick. It’s a bit bitter but worth it.”

She also mentioned her unusual fondness for different types of salts, revealing, “I even eat salt sometimes. My kids ask, ‘Mom, can we have some salt?’ instead of candy in the car! They’re obsessed. It tastes like roasted eggs.”

When getting a good night’s sleep, Han Ga-in swears by sleep supplements. “I hesitated initially because they cost around 5,000 won (roughly $4) per bottle, so I only bought two,” she explained. “Normally, I wake up about five times a night, but with this, I slept like a baby until 5 a.m. I was mind-blown! Now, I stock up and take it before big shoots or when I feel extra anxious.”
