Multi-talented artist Rain shows off his self-love in the latest vlog.
On Thursday, the YouTube channel Season B Season dropped a deliciously entertaining video titled “Rain’s Nth Macau Food Tour Extravaganza.”
The K-pop sensation-turned-actor jetted off to Macau for a quick getaway. Upon noticing the workout gear prepared for him, Rain joked, “I must come across as a total fitness freak.” He expressed his appreciation, adding, “I’m always thankful for moments like this to unwind in Macau.”
While giving viewers a tour of his hotel room, Rain couldn’t help but gush, “Everything here is state-of-the-art.” He showed off a tablet that controls the entire home system, explaining, “I wanted to set something like this up at home. I considered managing everything through this, but the price tag is astronomical. And if it breaks, you can’t even flip a light switch manually.”
Later, Rain shared one of the items on his bucket list: riding an open-top double-decker bus. “I’ve always dreamed of cruising around on one of those buses,” he confessed. “Today might just be my lucky day—the forecast says there’s going to be a storm all across Macau. But even if it pours, I’m determined to ride that bus, come rain or shine!”
At breakfast, Rain admitted, “I’m not usually a big breakfast person, but I need some fuel to explore. In France, you only get a tiny croissant and a little latte—it’s such a letdown.” The production team chimed in, joking about how, back in the day, if you asked for an Americano, they’d pretend they didn’t hear you.
This prompted Rain to playfully lecture the crew: “Hold up, when did we all jump on the Americano bandwagon? You guys need to step it up. We’re paying around 5,000 to 6,000 won (about $4–$5) for a cup! That adds up!” When the crew retorted, “Don’t you drink like three cups yourself?” Rain shot back with a grin, “Hey, I’ve earned those caffeine kicks!”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Rain and his wife, actress Kim Tae Hee, are sitting on a real estate portfolio worth over 140 billion won (roughly $104 million).
