TV Report Views
Jung Woo Sung is gearing up for his first public appearance since the recent revelation that he is the biological father of model Moon Ga Bi’s child. His highly anticipated appearance will take place this Friday in Seoul at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
The awards ceremony will be held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, and Jung Woo Sung will be nominated for Best Actor for his role as Lee Tae Shin in 12.12: The Day. He is competing for the award alongside other notable nominees, including Lee Sung Min (Handsome Guys), Lee Je Hoon (Escape), Choi Min Sik (Exhuma), and Hwang Jung Min (12.12: The Day).
This marks Jung Woo Sung’s first official appearance since news broke about his paternity, drawing even more attention to the event. According to a report by Dispatch on Sunday, Moon Ga Bi confirmed that Jung is indeed the father of her child. The two reportedly began their relationship in 2022, and when Moon announced her pregnancy last June, Jung Woo Sung pledged to take responsibility for raising the child. However, despite the news of fatherhood, the couple is not pursuing a marriage with Moon Ga Bi.
On Friday, Moon Ga Bi shared a heartfelt post on her social media: “As a mother, I’ve found the courage to seek a more ordinary happiness. ” She revealed that she had given birth earlier this year.
Jung Woo Sung’s agency, Artist Company, confirmed the news: “The child Moon Ga Bi revealed on social media is indeed Jung Woo Sung’s biological child.” The agency added, “We are currently discussing the best approach to raising the child, and Jung Woo Sung is committed to being the best father possible.”
Many were surprised when Jung Woo Sung became a father without marriage. All eyes are now on whether the actor will share his thoughts on fatherhood and address the situation at the upcoming Blue Dragon Film Awards.
