“After a challenging year, and with just about a month left in this new one, I’m finally ready to share my story,” Moon Ga Bi wrote in her post. “This is not just my story anymore, but as a mother now, I’m nervous and anxious about opening up publicly. But I’ve found the courage to seek a simpler, more peaceful happiness.”

In her message, Moon Ga Bi also opened up about the suddenness of her pregnancy. “The news came so unexpectedly, and I wasn’t prepared at all,” she explained. “Instead of celebrating my pregnancy and soaking in congratulations, I spent most of the time quietly surrounded by the love and blessings of my family. It was all for the sake of my child.”

She said, “In my heart, I always believed that to protect something precious, it had to be kept hidden. I felt like an unprepared and inadequate mom-to-be, needing time to prepare for everything. But looking back, I realize that was just a scared mother making the best choices she could.”

Moon Ga Bi also expressed her deep love and commitment to her child. “I may not be the perfect mom, and I’m still unprepared in many ways, but this child fills my heart with so much love just by existing,” she shared. “Looking at my baby, I’ve vowed to be a mom full of love and happiness rather than striving for perfection. My deepest wish is to give my child a life that’s not only healthy and happy but one filled with the unconditional love that only a mother can provide.”
