Actor Lee Sang Yeob has his sights set on a dream vacation with none other than BTS’s Jin. The popular road trip reality show Who Ride is back for its highly anticipated second season, premiering this Friday. The new season features an exciting star lineup, including 2PM’s Jang Wooyoung, Lee Sang Yeob, and singer Woody.

Recently, OOTB Studio dropped a teaser for Who Ride 2, revealing the star-studded cast and some major twists in the game format. During the pre-production meetings, the trio of Jang Wooyoung, Lee Sang Yeob, and Woody couldn’t hide their excitement when the producers introduced the show’s fresh concept. This time around, teams will embark on single-day trips to various locations, with over 150 regions across the country up for grabs in a territory-taking style game. The stars were all in, with Jang Wooyoung saying, “This sounds like a blast!”

One of the biggest changes this season is the Loyalty Game, the show’s signature format, which has received a major upgrade. Instead of following the path set by the previous team, all teams will now share a collective travel budget. Ten teams will manage a total budget of 3 million won (about $2,146). The catch? If one team overspends, the next team has to make do with whatever’s left, regardless of their plans. The cast immediately jumped in, saying, “The order is everything! I want to go first!”

Adding another layer of excitement to the show, the stars are busy recruiting their travel companions for their day trips. Jang Wooyoung wasted no time calling his close friend, Young K, from the K-pop group DAY6, promising to take him anywhere. Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yeob is set on traveling with BTS’s Jin. He even joked, “If that doesn’t work out, I’ll just take my grandmother!” The unexpected family trip comment had everyone laughing during the pre-production meeting.

Woody, for his part, flexed his impressive baseball connections. He name-dropped fellow cast members from another OOTB Studio show, Baseball Representatives: The League of Fans, including Eom Ji Yoon, Yoo Hee Kwan, and Ha Seung Jin. But the real surprise was his friendship with Koo Ja Wook. As the fierce competition to secure travel buddies heats up, viewers are on the edge of their seats, wondering who will accompany each star and which team will kick off this new adventure.

Who Ride 2, filled with celebrity friendships, fierce competition, and exciting adventures, premieres this Friday. Tune in every Friday on the 9700 STUDIO channel.
