Lee Seung Gi has unveiled the music video for “Return” (featuring Lyn), the title track from his 20th-anniversary album With, which was released on Wednesday. The video, which dropped alongside the album on official platforms, offers an emotional and cinematic experience reminiscent of a poignant scene from a melodrama.

In the music video, Lee Seung Gi portrays a chef at his restaurant, where he encounters a group of customers, one of whom is his former lover (played by Lee Seol). As they converse, Lee Seung Gi reflects on their shared joyful moments and their eventual breakup. Their interaction is warm, but the mood shifts when he notices her wedding ring as they say their goodbyes. The video captures the bittersweet moment, and as the last customer leaves, Lee Seung Gi is left alone, cleaning the tables. The final shot lingers on his solitary figure, deep in thought, evoking a sense of nostalgic reflection.

“Return,” a long-time fan favorite, is known for its poetic lyrics that explore the pain of parting from a loved one, set against a gentle melody. The song has been reimagined as a duet for this album, bringing a fresh dynamic to the track. The new arrangement highlights the beautiful harmony between Lee Seung Gi’s passionate, powerful vocals and Lyn’s delicate, soulful singing, which has been met with acclaim from listeners.

On the personal front, Lee Seung Gi married actress Kyeon Mi Ri’s daughter, Lee Da In, in 2023, and the couple recently welcomed their first child, a daughter. Fans will also be excited to see Lee Seung Gi make his long-awaited return to the big screen after a six-year hiatus, with his upcoming film About Family set to hit theaters on December 11.
