Actress Han Ga In opened up about the reason for her recent hospitalization while humorously mentioning her doppelgänger, Kim Dong Jun. On Thursday, a video titled “Han Ga In’s Last Encounter with Her Doppelgänger Kim Dong Jun (Hospitalization Vlog)” was posted on her YouTube channel, Han Ga In is Free.

The video begins with Han Ga In appearing flustered as the production crew enters her hospital room. “Is this for real? You’re barging in with cameras?” she jokes. When asked if she was in the middle of applying makeup, Han Ga In laughs and says, “I just put on some BB cream. I haven’t even had a chance to wash my hair.”

Han then addresses her hospitalization with her trademark humor, saying, “So, you know how I recently met Kim Dong Jun? They say meeting your doppelgänger is supposed to be fatal. I guess because we’re different genders, I just got sick instead of… you know.” She chuckles before becoming more serious. “But honestly, after meeting Kim Dong Jun, I started feeling really bad that evening. My condition worsened quickly—I couldn’t stand or eat. At first, the doctors didn’t know what was wrong. After pushing through a commercial shoot, I couldn’t take it anymore and had to check myself into the hospital.”

When the crew comments that she doesn’t look too sick, Han playfully protests, “Hey, I crawled in here!” She elaborates, “I was completely out of it. My husband (actor Yeon Jung Hoon) had to help me crawl in, and the nurses immediately put me in a wheelchair.”

Han Ga In then shares the medical explanation for her condition: “The doctor finally figured out what was going on, and that’s why I’m feeling so much better now. It’s a bit complicated, but basically, I have been dealing with unexplained dizziness. At first, I thought it was a lingering effect from a past inner ear issue. When it didn’t go away, I turned to YouTube for answers before coming here. Turns out I have orthostatic hypotension. I had no idea.”

She explains, “Whenever I stood up, blood wasn’t flowing to my brain properly, which caused the dizziness. It felt like a fog lifted once they gave me the right medication. I’ve had two full nights of sleep, and my heart palpitations at night are gone.” Han Ga In happily reports that she’s now on the road to recovery.
