BTS has reached another major milestone with the music video for their hit song “Dynamite,” which has now surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube. According to its agency, BigHit Music, the video for the digital single, released globally on August 21, 2020, hit the 1.9 billion mark at 3:54 AM on Monday, making it the first BTS music video to achieve this impressive feat.

The colorful and energetic music video perfectly matches the upbeat vibe of the song’s melody and lyrics. It showcases the group’s dynamic choreography as they groove to the music. The seven members’ synchronized dance moves add to the visual appeal, making it a joyous experience for fans worldwide.

“Dynamite” is an infectious, feel-good disco-pop anthem crafted to lift spirits. It is also considered BTS’s first all-English track, following their debut in 2013. The song’s catchy beat and high-energy performance come together flawlessly, while its simple, fun dance moves and each member’s unique charisma make it even more engaging and shareable.

This track has helped BTS break new ground and set multiple records. With “Dynamite,” BTS became the first Korean group to top the Billboard Hot 100 and set the record for the longest time spent at No. 1 by a K-pop artist. The song’s continued success was further highlighted when recently featured on UPROXX’s list of the 100 Best Hit Songs of the Century So Far.

BTS’s YouTube dominance doesn’t stop with “Dynamite.” The group now boasts 39 music videos with hundreds of millions of views. Among its most-watched videos are “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)” with 1.8 billion views, “DNA” with 1.6 billion, “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” with 1.4 billion, and “IDOL,” “FAKE LOVE,” and “Butter,” each of which has surpassed the billion-view milestone.
