BTS members V and Jimin are locked in fierce competition for the top spot in the 2024 Pick of the Year voting event, launched by global fan platform UPICK on December 5. The year-end contest features a star-studded lineup of K-pop artists, sparking passionate participation from fans worldwide.

In the K-pop Artist (Male) category, BTS’s V, Jimin, and ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon have secured leading positions. In contrast, in the K-pop Artist (Female) category, BABYMONSTER’s Ahyeon, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, and TWICE’s Dahyun are receiving significant support from fans. Other rising stars, including ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao, Kim Jiwoong, PLAVE’s Noah, BABYMONSTER’s Pharita, NiziU’s Mako, and UNIS’ Jin Hyeonju, are quickly climbing the ranks, closely trailing the leaders.

The voting is split into two groups, A and B, with only the top three from each group advancing to the 2024 Pick of the Year finals. The ultimate winner will receive a package of seven domestic advertisements and a coveted Best Pick special badge.

Notably, BTS’s V and Jimin are just one special badge away from clinching a prize package of 15 global advertisement slots. Fans eagerly watch to see which two will emerge victorious and claim the prestigious rewards.

In addition to the Pick of the Year voting, UPICK is also hosting the 2024 Global Hot Character Awards vote. Starting December 16, fans will also have the chance to vote for the 2024 Best Position Awards.
