Yoon Kye Sang has expressed his disappointment with the current concert culture, where fans filming performances have started to overshadow the experience of simply enjoying the live event.

On Monday, Yoon Kye Sang took to social media to share a heartfelt message with his fans following his solo fan meeting, LOG, on Saturday. “Did you enjoy the LOG fan meeting? While I put my all into preparing for it, now that it’s over, I feel a bit embarrassed and apologetic because there were many aspects I wish I could have improved upon,” he wrote.

Yoon Kye Sang reassured fans that the fan meeting video is currently being edited. “I’ll be sure to share it with you as soon as it’s ready, so please don’t worry,” he promised. However, the actor-singer also addressed a more sensitive topic: using cameras during the event and sharing footage on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

“To be honest, I wanted to create a more intimate experience with you all at this fan meeting,” Yoon Kye Sang confessed. “I hoped everyone would put their phones down for a while and truly immerse themselves in the performance. After a long time since our last gathering, I thought we could have a genuinely memorable experience by connecting without any barriers.”

However, Yoon Kye Sang expressed disappointment as he saw fans raising cameras during the show and videos posted online almost immediately after the event ended. “Seeing cameras go up during the performance and footage appearing online so quickly made me feel a bit let down,” he said. “I’m sure there was a notice about this, and I even mentioned it multiple times during the event. It’s disappointing that it wasn’t fully respected.”

He concluded his message with a plea for future events: “I’m sharing this to avoid this situation next time. Please try to honor my wishes. As I said during LOG, I hope we can all stay healthy and meet again. Take care in this cold weather, and I hope you finish the year well.”

Fans can look forward to seeing Yoon Kye Sang next in the upcoming SBS drama Try: We Become Miracles, set to air in 2025.
