Aston Martin’s new DBX 707 has made improvements to the interior and UI, which were the most talked-about features
The DBX, Aston Martin’s first SUV, was launched at the end of 2019. Recently, the DBX has become a hot topic as it was revealed in a new form for the 2025 model year. Aston Martin announced that from the 2025 model year on, it would eliminate the base model and only release the top-spec DBX 707.
The 2025 DBX 707 is said to have improved the interior and UI, which were areas of customer dissatisfaction. Moreover, it is expected to be offered in three trim specifications: Inspire Sport, Inspire Comfort, and Bespoke Q.
Equipped with a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 697 horsepower and 91kgf.m of torque
Aston Martin’s chairman, Lawrence Stroll, stated that they redesigned the interior of the DBX 707 in response to consumer complaints about the DBX’s cabin architecture and outdated user interface. They also applied a new infotainment system, as seen in the DB12. Furthermore, he announced that they had excluded the standard DBX model, which had a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 542 horsepower, and the hybrid six-cylinder engine DBX model, which was sold in some regions, from the 2025 DBX lineup.
In other words, the high-performance DBX 707 is the only model in the 2025 DBX lineup. It uses the same twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine as the previous model, delivering 697 horsepower and 91kgf.m of torque. Power is given to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission made by Benz AMG. It also has carbon ceramic brakes, a torque split rear differential, and a 48-volt anti-roll system. Aston Martin reported that the air springs and adaptive dampers received new calibrations to increase body control.

The interior of the DBX 707 has been completely revamped, featuring a redesigned door card, a modified dashboard, and a much more intuitive control layout. The DBX 707 features a center console similar to the DB12 and the soon-to-be-released new Vantage, which includes a small gearshift with control buttons for drive modes and HVAC functions.
Inside the 2025 DBX 707 is a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a high-resolution 10.2-inch touchscreen running the Linux-based Aston UX system. The steering wheel was redesigned with a smaller and more luxurious center cap. It supports wireless Apple Inc. It offers CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB-C ports between the driver and passenger seats improve connectivity compared to the previous model.

While the 2025 DBX 707 interior has changed significantly, the exterior has undergone minimal changes. Aston Martin has expanded the color options for the DBX 707 by offering five colors: Epsilon Black, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, Malachite Green, and Aura Green. It also features various door mirrors that can accommodate cameras for the 3D parking display system.
Aston Martin announced that they plan to start the new DBX 707 production in the second quarter of 2024 and begin delivery in the third quarter. The price of the DBX 707 has not yet been revealed, but since the current DBX 707 starts from about $285,000, the cost of the 2025 model is expected to be over $290,000.
