Revealed: Motorcycle license acquisition process.
“Can’t contact my sister now.”
A 70-year-old Japanese woman has been arrested for creating and living as a nonexistent 40-year-old younger sister because she wanted to live a youthful life.
On the 23rd, according to Nihon TV (Nittere) and others, the police department arrested 72-year-old Chizuru Yoshino, who lives in Tokyo, on charges of false registration.
The age of the imaginary younger sister ‘Juwa Iwada’ that Yoshino Chizuru impersonated was 48, 24 years younger than her actual age.
Yoshino lived as Juwa from November 2021 until it was discovered in October 2022 that she used a fake registration while obtaining a motorcycle license.
The police officer who felt that the actual appearance of Yoshino, who visited the test center, and the age of 48 listed in the documents were too far apart started the investigation, which was the beginning.
Yoshino later obtained a license at a different test center from where the suspicious police officer was.
Yukihiko, the husband who helped his wife Yoshino’s false registration by writing and submitting false documents to the family court and ward office, admitted to the charges, saying, “I wanted to make my wife look younger.”
However, Yoshino still behaves like she is Juwa, saying, “I am not on good terms with my sister now and cannot contact her.”
In Japan, if you falsify a registration, you can be sentenced to up to 2 years in prison or a fine of up to 300,000 yen (approximately $2,600), according to Article 156 of the Criminal Code.
In December 2022, a Japanese woman was fined 300,000 yen for uploading someone else’s identity to her registration.
