North Korea has criticized Western countries, including the United States, for taking a duplicitous attitude toward the war in Ukraine and the war in the Middle East.

On the 8th, North Korea’s Korean Central News Agency reported an article by Yang Myung Seong, the secretary-general of the Korea-Arab Association, titled “The Only Way to Solve the Current Situation in the Middle East is to End the Double Standards of the U.S. and the West.”

The news agency pointed out, “As the situation in the Middle East continues to fall deeper into a vicious cycle of slaughter and revenge, international criticism is growing against the United States and the West, which are unilaterally supporting the inhumane genocide atrocities of Israeli Jewish Zionists.” did.

It also defended Russia, saying, “There is due condemnation for the brazen behavior of the U.S. and the West, who label innocent Russia as the aggressor in the Ukraine situation, yet turn a blind eye to Israel’s brutal crimes.”

The agency emphasized, “The U.S. and the West’s unilateral and double-standard foreign policies are catalysts that drive the already unstable current international political and military situation into greater disaster and danger. As long as this is allowed, the world peace and stability, a long-cherished wish of mankind, can never be realized.”

It further emphasized, “The only way to resolve the current situation in the Middle East, which is worsening day by day, is to end double standards between the United States and the West.”
