In today’s society, where affordable new cars are hard to find, the choices for young professionals are extremely limited. If you have a budget of approximately $16,800, your options beyond compact cars are limited only to the mid-size sedans Hyundai Avante and Kia K3.

However, it is rumored that a new choice will be available this year. It is the K4, which is set to succeed the Kia K3. With its larger size and unique crossover-style design, the prototype has been attracting attention whenever it appears. As expectations rise for whether it could be a competitor to the Avante, a reliable predicted design has emerged.

Completely Erased Traces of K3
DRL Presence Confirmed

God Car, a professional car prediction creator, revealed the predicted front view of the Kia K4 on the 24th. The prediction, which was created based on the latest spy shots, shows a significant change, making it difficult to find traces of the current K3 in most design elements. The headlights are integrated with the grille, appropriately incorporating Kia’s latest tiger face design. The back seat door handle is hidden near the C-pillar, emphasizing the volume of the rear fender and the smooth character line. The A-pillar gives a unique impression of floating due to its lower part’s high-gloss black finish. The latest Kia family look, the Star Map Signature Lighting, serves as the daytime running lights (DRL) under normal circumstances. However, when the turn signal is activated, it the entire lighting system illuminates.

Kia EV9 GT Line

Odd Resemblance to EV9SUV Design on a Sedan?

Underneath the tiger nose grille, a wide trapezoidal bumper fascia creates a sporty atmosphere. The radar sensor is located in the center, below the license plate, surrounded by the radiator grille. On both sides, rectangular air intake decorations have been applied, giving a high-performance model feel similar to the arrangement on the Kia EV9 GT line.

The cube-shaped LED lamps placed inside the vertical headlights are also a new family look that started with the EV9. A flashy animation of the welcome lighting feature can be looked forward to when unlocking the doors. Meanwhile, the wheel arch cladding is one of the elements emphasizing the K4’s crossover concept.

Wheel Arch Cladding Applied
Will It Be Difficult to Launch in Korea?

Although it’s closer to a sedan, the K4 has implemented wheel arch cladding, a design element of SUVs. However, wheel arch cladding typically uses matte plastic material unless applied to a luxury model. However, since the K4 is a sedan model mostly driven in urban areas, it is likely to be finished with high-gloss black material.

Meanwhile, there is considerable interest in whether the K4 will be launched in Korea. The K4 was not included in Kia’s domestic factory’s new car production plan revealed last November, leading to speculation that it may not be launched in the domestic market. However, Kia has not officially commented on the domestic launch of the K4 yet. As it promises product quality surpassing the Avante, domestic consumers hold high hopes, making it worthwhile to keep an optimistic outlook.
