Ultimate Durability: 6 Cars That Can Brave Wars and Natural Disasters

newautopost Views

The Vehicles with Ultimate Durability That Can Withstand Even War

When watching movies or TV series, you rarely see people driving sedans or sports cars during natural disasters like tornadoes or hurricanes. The same goes for warlike situations. A large and sturdy vehicle is necessary to evacuate with various luggage and emergency food.

In countries like the United States, with vast territories, damage from wildfires or hurricanes often sweeps through towns, sometimes creating real situations more like disaster movies. Although South Korea doesn’t frequently experience major natural disasters requiring evacuation, it is technically a nation at ceasefire, so there has always been consideration for emergencies. Let’s look at three American and three Korean cars that would perform exceptionally in emergencies.

Off-Road SUVs Over Luxury SUVs
Jeep Grand Cherokee and Gladiator

These days, SUVs come in various forms, from urban SUVs to luxury SUVs, each tailored to individual lifestyles. However, vehicles with practicality and excellent off-road capabilities are needed more than luxury ones in emergencies.

Jeep’s off-road vehicles are prime examples, including the Grand Cherokee and Gladiator. The Grand Cherokee offers a rare, luxurious feel in off-road vehicles, providing a relatively comfortable experience. Its off-road capabilities are also excellent, making it easy to navigate unpaved roads. The Gladiator, true to its mid-size pickup nature, offers ample storage space, Jeep’s unique charm, and a V6 powertrain that provides plenty of power.

Ford, the King of Pickups in the World
Korean Cars Also with High Utility During Emergencies

Another American vehicle is the Ford F-150. This model, one of the most famous pickup trucks in the world, is a full-size pickup with a performance that is in a different league from the vehicles mentioned above. Its excellent performance, trusted even by U.S. government agencies, will provide you with its capabilities in emergencies.

If the aforementioned American cars are too burdensome, you can find alternatives among Korean vehicles.
A prime example is KG Mobility’s Rexton Sports Khan. As the only pickup truck currently produced in Korea, it boasts excellent storage and loading capabilities. Its off-road driving, inherited from the Ssangyong Motor era, is reliable. Kia’s flagship SUV, the Mohave, and Hyundai’s Santa Fe can perform excellently in emergencies, maintaining their reputation domestically and performing flawlessly even off-road.

No Need for Large Vehicles
Ample Space, Fuel Efficiency Also Important

In addition to the cars listed above, vehicles with ample cargo space or excellent fuel efficiency can also help in emergencies. The best thing is to avoid experiencing natural disasters or wars in your lifetime. But it’s not uncommon for anyone to think about preparing for unforeseen events that could occur at any time.

We’ve looked at reliable vehicles that could serve as our feet in urgent situations. If you own one of the vehicles mentioned above, you can easily think of ways to utilize it in emergencies.
