American actor Rob Schneider recently made a crude joke about the Korean red-light district.

Politico reported on April 15 that Schneider was scheduled to perform a 30-minute stand-up comedy at a gathering of lawmakers, including high-ranking Republican officials. However, due to his lowbrow humor, he was forced to leave the stage after just 10 minutes.

During his performance, Schneider made a racially insensitive and crude joke, mentioning “Korean prostitutes.” The event organizers stopped his performance after just 10 minutes.

Many local politicians expressed their discomfort. In particular, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith said, “I didn’t need to hear that,” and left the event, stating, “It was disgusting and lowbrow humor.”

The event organizers sent an apology email to the approximately 150 attendees, but Schneider remains defiant.

“I will not change my jokes, nor will I apologize to anyone,” Schneider told a media outlet.

He added, “I was supposed to do that, so I stood on the stage for 50 minutes,” and claimed that someone even shook his hand after the performance, suggesting that Politico’s news was fake.

Schneider, known for his roles in movies like Home Alone 2 and 50 First Kisses, works as a stand-up comedian and is on tour.
