On May 1st, renowned Australian influencer Isabelle Mathers uploaded photos and videos of herself at a friend’s wedding on social media.
The photos showed her wearing a nearly white, bright ivory dress that fully exposed her midriff. In less than 24 hours after the photos went live, many of her followers began to comment on the dress. They began to point out that wearing such a dress to a best friend’s wedding was inappropriate.
Comments included that it wasn’t suitable for a wedding, was too exposing, and felt like she wanted to stand out more than her friend.
