Why did the police stop?

According to Carscoops, the police in Crawford County, Missouri, recently captured a unique vehicle. According to the report, police directing traffic on the highway found a vehicle similar to a spaceship and stopped it because its expired license plate differed from its unique shape.

Considering the size of the vehicle, the police did not impose a fine but issued a written warning and asked the driver to drive safely. It is known that the vehicle’s occupants were on their way to Roswell, New Mexico, to attend the UFO festival. Roswell became famous after a reported UFO crash on July 2, 1947. It is also the site of an annual festival that draws enthusiasts and believers in UFOs worldwide.

Meanwhile, attention is also focused on the vehicle’s identity, which boasts details that make one wonder if it really is a UFO. This vehicle, which has no particular name, was created in 2014 by Steve Anderson, an entrepreneur and actor from Indianapolis. He had dreamed of owning a spaceship since childhood.

Not all parts, starting with the frame, were newly made. They were based on the Metro model, launched in 1989 by Geo, a compact vehicle brand under General Motors. However, aside from the powertrain, which consists of a 1.0L 3-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an automatic transmission, it boasts a unique visual appearance that can be seen as entirely new.

Explosive Reaction

As unique as the exterior is, the interior shows signs of an effort to create the feeling of a UFO from a science fiction movie. Instead of an ordinary steering wheel, a yoke steering wheel cut like an airplane control stick attracts attention, and the seats are covered with blue vinyl. Meanwhile, a commemorative photo posted by the local police on their official Facebook account received more than 12,000 reactions in just one day.
