Here’s an important choice: which flavor of Oreo should you pick? We’re using the classic chocolate Oreo with its creamy center for this demonstration. However, you can choose any Oreo flavor that tickles your taste buds, be it the original white cream-filled Oreo or even the colorful Blackpink Oreos for added flair. Mixing and matching different flavors can also result in a visually stunning outcome.

Step 1: Separating Oreo Cookies into Cream and Cookie

The first step in creating our Oreo roll is to separate the cookies from their creamy centers. Gently twist each Oreo cookie into two halves, one with the cream and one without. Take the side with the cream and use a fork to scrape off the filling – it’s that simple!

Step 2: Crushing Oreo Cookies into Fine Crumbs

With the cream successfully removed from your Oreos, it’s time to turn the cookies into fine crumbs. Place the cookie halves in a plastic bag and crush them until you have a fine, crumbly texture. You can do this by hand or use a rolling pin or any other flat, heavy object. If you have a food processor, that can make this step even easier. You’re good to go once you have your Oreo cookie crumbs ready.

Step 3: Mixing Cookie Crumbs with 2 Tablespoons of Milk

Now, it’s time to bring your cookie crumbs to life by adding 2 tablespoons of milk. Start with this amount and adjust as needed, adding a bit more if the mixture seems too dry. You’re aiming for a dough-like consistency that holds together when pressed.

Step 5: Prepare the Cream by Mixing 2 Tablespoons of Cream Cheese with the Reserved Oreo Cream

While your Oreo dough chills in the freezer, it’s time to create the cream filling. Mix 2 tablespoons of cream cheese with the Oreo cream you scraped off earlier. This step is crucial for giving your Oreo rolls a creamy texture.

Step 6: Spread the Cream Mixture over the Oreo Dough

Now that both your Oreo dough and cream mixture are ready, it’s time to combine them. Carefully spread the cream mixture evenly over the flattened Oreo dough inside the ziplock bag. You want a generous layer of cream covering the entire dough surface.

Step 7: Roll the Oreo Dough into a Log and Freeze for 1 Hour

With the cream evenly spread, it’s time for the fun part – rolling! Gently lift the edge of the Oreo dough inside the ziplock bag and start rolling it into a log. You can make it a traditional roll or get creative and shape it into an oval, similar to a Swiss roll. Once you’ve achieved your desired shape, seal the bag and place it in the freezer for about an hour to set.

After an hour in the freezer, remove your perfectly chilled Oreo roll. Carefully slice it into individual pieces. The time in the freezer makes this step a breeze.
