Coarse salt
is excellent for cleaning, so give it a try!
Hello, This is Salim Bro!
Salt that you often use! Most of us use salt for seasoning food. But did you know that this salt can also be used for cleaning? Salt has many uses for adding flavor when cooking and for innovative use in daily life.
Today, I will introduce various ways to use salt. It shows excellent disinfecting or cleaning effects, so try using the methods the Housekeeping Brother has shared! However, when using salt, it is better to use coarse salt to achieve better results, so please prepare coarse salt~
It would be even better to use expired or unused salt. Shall we find out what tips the Housekeeping Brother will share today? Let’s get started!
Since the refrigerator can become dirty with various food odors and foreign substances, you can clean it in an environmentally friendly way with just salt. Simply dissolve salt in warm water and use the diluted solution for cleaning~
Soak a wipe or towel in the saltwater solution and wipe all around the refrigerator. Salt adds disinfecting effects, making it possible to clean thoroughly.
Here’s one more tip! Instead of water, you can mix beer and salt in a 1:1 ratio to remove traces of food accumulated while storing them. It’s a good idea to use the remaining beer for this purpose, right?
Unpleasant odors are coming from the sink! Especially during the summer, it can become even more complicated with fruit flies. In such cases, try using salt. With just salt and kitchen detergent, you can say goodbye to odors.
1) First, sprinkle coarse salt generously in the sink.
2) Pump the kitchen detergent 2-3 times.
3) Pour hot water until it goes down the drain.
The hot water should be as hot as boiling water in a coffee pot. You can also get rid of solidified grease by removing any stubborn dirt with salt and dissolving it with hot water. It’s like killing two birds with one stone, right?
However, be cautious when using hot water in old pipes as it can damage them. Please use a different method for old pipes!
Don’t you use side dish containers that you use once and throw away? Side dish containers are used, washed, and reused, so inevitably, the odor remains. That’s why many peoprewash themain before using them.
In this case, put a spoonful of salt and sugar in the side dish container, add water, and shake it from side to side and front to back. This will remove the odor. If you let the side dish container dry in the sunlight, the color will return, so dry it in thdaylightht when drying. Please keep this in mind!
One more thing! Rather than completely dissolving the sugar and salt in the water, leave some crystals remaining and shake it. This will remove the odor more effectively.
Removing odor from cutting boards
Do you use different cutting boards for vegetables, fish, and meat? I don’t. That’s why the smells mix. What do you do in such cases?
Although the Housekeeping Brother uses detergent for cleaning, it’s better to clean environmentally. In this case, sprinkle salt on the cutting board and wait 10 minutes. Then, wearing rubber gloves, scrub the cutting board. This will also remove the odor.
Just like with the sink, it’s better to dry the cutting board in the sunlight, so make sure to dry it thoroughly, right?
Today, I have shown you how to clean various kitchen parts using salt. It looks pretty effective in eliminating odors when I list them like this. In addition to cleaning, did you know gargling with salt water is also beneficial for gum health?
Anyone can easily follow the 4 ways to use salt that I introduced, so give it a try!
