Deep Dive Dubai is not your typical swimming pool. Its designers created it specifically for diving and scuba training, and it boasts incredible depths. Most of the diving pools in the world have depths ranging from 16 to 33 feet. However, there’s a place in Dubai that surpasses them all.

As soon as it opened, Deep Dive Dubai earned its place in the Guinness World Records as the deepest pool globally. This remarkable facility is located in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. It opened its doors in July 2021 and garnered attention for its astonishing depth of 196.85 feet. It dwarfs Poland’s Deepspot, previously listed in the Guinness World Records with a depth of 147.64 feet, by an impressive 49.21 feet. Deep Dive Dubai is a massive pool that can accommodate six Olympic-sized swimming pools, containing 3.7 million gallons of freshwater.

What’s more captivating is that none other than Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, established Deep Dive Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan, the second son of Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, follows in his father’s footsteps, known for his role in constructing artificial islands in Dubai and creating iconic structures like the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

Following his father’s legacy, Sheikh Hamdan now holds the title of being part of the world’s firsts, thanks to Deep Dive Dubai. His visit to the facility and the subsequent social media posts generated significant buzz. Initially, only guests could enter the facility when it first opened.
