① Atlantis The Royal
Dubai is a global metropolis that many tourists aspire to visit at least once. With its staggering landscapes, including Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and Palm Jumeirah, it captivates travelers.
Recently, the luxury hotel ‘Atlantis The Royal’ opened its doors after eight years of construction in Dubai. The hotel quickly established itself as Dubai’s latest landmark. It’s making its presence felt as a world-class luxury hotel.
Atlantis The Royal is located on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. It stretches along the beach for about 0.3 miles. The hotel’s construction cost alone amounted to approximately 1.36 billion U.S. dollars.
The hotel’s exterior features a unique design not found in any other country. From above, it curves in an ‘S’ shape, resembling a stack of blocks. All rooms offer views of the Gulf Sea in Dubai. You can enjoy a fantastic landscape. The signature penthouse, spanning 5,597 square feet, features a private infinity pool. It is decorated in a lavish palace-style interior.
Atlantis The Royal began its construction in July 2016, after being contracted by Ssangyong Engineering & Construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in December 2015. After about 80 months of construction, it was completed in February. The construction was prolonged due to design changes and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Atlantis The Royal, now revealed, is currently receiving worldwide attention.
② Infinity Pool with Spectacular View
Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal was designed as a world-class hotel. Atlantis The Royal consists of three 44-story luxury hotel buildings. It houses 795 rooms and 231 units in three top-floor residences.
Though the hotel and residences are separate buildings, they are connected through a ‘Skybridge’ installed at a height of 262 feet. A special process was used to install it up to this height. It’s a colossal structure weighing over 1,433 tons. The view from the Sky Bridge overlooking Atlantis The Palm is beyond words.
On the rooftop of the Skybridge, there is a 295-foot-long ‘Cloud 22’ rooftop infinity pool. The hotel’s infinity pool has been a hot topic even before its opening. It gives the feeling of swimming in the clouds.
It boasts a fantastic infinity pool that surpasses Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. The hotel contains a total of 94 swimming pools. Depending on the room type, 48 are in the hotel and 46 are in the residences.
