Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage has flaunted his unique affection for his Japanese wife, who is 30 years younger than him.
On the 7th, Nicolas Cage (60) appeared at the 81st Golden Globe Awards hand in hand with his wife Riko Shibata (30). Cage was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in “Dream Scenario,” but unfortunately did not win the award.
Celebrating his 60th birthday on the same day, Nicolas Cage cheerfully told the media outlet ‘Variety’, “It’s my surreal birthday party. I’m happy to meet everyone. Everyone’s invited to my birthday party.”
The couple also attracted attention with their distinctive fashion. Nicolas Cage showcased his fashion sense by wearing a shiny tuxedo jacket with a matching bow tie. His wife Riko Shibata added a touch of color to her all-black outfit with a burgundy fur jacket. She also emphasized her sophistication by matching her outfit with a high-end H-brand bag.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Cage had previously met his Korean wife Alice Kim in a restaurant in LA in 2004 and got married, but they divorced after 12 years. He also has a history of marriages with Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, and Erika Koike.
Riko Shibata, the current wife of Nicolas Cage is his fifth wife and is three years younger than Cage’s son Weston which also drew attention. The two met during the Japanese filming of the movie “Ghostland” in 2020, nurtured their love despite a 30-year age gap, and got married in February 2021. Riko Shibata gave birth to a daughter in September 2022 a year after their marriage.
