According to a survey by Campspot, 70% of camp participants answered they want rest in 2024. Most of them hoped to go camping. 58% of respondents said camping provides more rest from daily life than other vacations.
Travelers hoped to camp in a calm atmosphere.
They gravitated towards camping sites near lakes, seas, rivers, and streams. They preferred coastal campsites and considered the availability of water-based recreational activities like kayaking and fishing as essential factors.
Many campers also mentioned that fresh air greatly influences their rest during camping. Over half of the survey respondents said they seek the night sky to stargaze. Most campers hoped to camp at a remote location away from urban areas.
That nature has healing power is not just a saying. Research shows that investing two hours a week in a natural environment can improve health significantly.
However, 91% of respondents said they want internet access in places with incredible natural scenery. 64% said they feel most comfortable when they can use high-speed internet.
③ Recommended U.S. Campsites with Good Air
