“A Killer Paradox” has taken the number one spot on Netflix globally, continuing the hot interest in K-content.

According to Netflix on the 21st, the original series “A Killer Paradox” (directed by Lee Chang Hee) recorded 5.5 million views and 39.5 million viewing hours from the 12th to the 18th, ranking first in the non-English TV category.

In addition, it made the top 10 in 43 countries, including France, Morocco, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

Released on the 9th, “A Killer Paradox” tells the story of an ordinary man, Lee Tang (played by Choi Woo Shik), who accidentally starts to commit murders, Detective Jang Nan Gam (played by Son Suk Ku) who relentlessly chases him, and Song Chon (played by Lee Hee Joon), a self-proclaimed “garbage cleaner” and former police officer who is jealous of Lee Tang. The webtoon of the same name by Kkomabi is the original work, and Lee Chang Hee directed it.

“A Killer Paradox” started in second place with 3.1 million views in its first week of release. Since then, it has been highly praised by domestic and foreign media for its unique and kitschy charm of the original work the director maximized and the actors’ performances that vividly depict characters on the boundary between good and evil.
