The Seoul Grand Park Botanical Gardens in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, displays about 900 species of various plants. It comprises multiple themes, including desert, tropical, temperate, and carnivorous plants. When you enter the greenhouse, the fresh atmosphere, as if you have come to another world, catches your eye. The greenhouse consists of five exhibition halls. At the Seoul Grand Park Botanical Gardens, visitors can see unique plants that captivate their interest, such as the Venus flytrap that catches insects and Codariocalyx that reacts to sound. It is a natural travel destination in the city where you can see various plants in one place. The botanical garden is an excellent place to visit with children as it is located within the zoo.

Nine Forets Ewhawon in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, is a botanical garden on Jara Island. It opened in 2009 and continues to be a place of rest for citizens. It consists of 24,710 square yards and is divided into a Korean and tropical pavilion. In the Korean pavilion, you can see plant gardens representing each region. The tropical pavilion exudes an exotic atmosphere, offering a different vibe from the Korean pavilion. The tropical pavilion is decorated with Mediterranean-style interiors. The outdoor garden scenery of Nine Forets Ewhawon is also stunning.

Bucheon Lake Botanical Garden Sophia in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, opened in June 2022. Located in Sangdong Lake Park, it is a botanical garden where you can enjoy nature in the city. Bucheon Lake Botanical Garden Sophia has introduced 430 species and 28,000 tropical and subtropical special species. You can meet unique plants such as olives, baobab trees, Canary Island date palms, and rubber figs. The botanical garden consists of various themes, such as a foliage garden, an aquatic garden, a palm garden, and a fern garden. It is also an excellent place to spend relaxing time looking at the green plants in the cafe in the botanical garden. A skywalk that captures the landscape of the botanical garden is also available. It is ideal for weekend outings as it has a well-maintained walking path.
