Kim Mu Yeol, who starred in Crime City 4, was invited to the 74th Berlin International Film Festival. Yoon Seung Ah also joined him to attend the festival. Since their honeymoon, the couple returned to Berlin for the first time in 9 years. Yoon expressed that revisiting Berlin after such a long time brought back a wave of emotions.

The couple reached Berlin after a 16-hour journey. Arriving late at night, they headed to their hotel, the Grand Hyatt Berlin.

Located in Potsdamer Platz, this 5-star hotel boasts luxurious facilities. It offers a rooftop with panoramic views of Berlin, an indoor swimming pool, and premium dining. Its central location makes it convenient for travel.

Yoon Seung Ah and Kim Mu Yeol started their official journey the day after arriving in Berlin. The couple enjoyed shopping and sightseeing in Berlin.

They took a photo before the Berlin Wall’s Brother’s Kiss. This mural depicts a kiss between the leaders of the German and Russian Communist Parties. In reality, communists used to greet each other with a kiss to show their friendship.

The painting depicts a moment from the 30th-anniversary celebration of East Germany’s establishment in 1979. In the image, the secretary of the East German Communist Party and the secretary of the Soviet Communist Party, Leonid Brezhnev, are shown kissing. The painting, created by Russian artist Dmitry Vrubel in 1990, has become an iconic representation of the year Germany was reunified. In the painting, the artist wrote, “Lord, help me survive this deadly love.”

This satirical painting has become a famous landmark in Berlin, still attracting tourists.

Next to the Brother’s Kiss is the Spree River. The Spree River, which flows through the center of Berlin, is a must-visit spot during a trip to Berlin. It offers a tranquil atmosphere where you can enjoy the ambiance of Berlin. You can also cruise the Spree River to tour Berlin’s significant landmarks.

Yoon Seung Ah and Kim Mu Yeol spent time walking along the Spree River. The couple took playful photos of each other, bringing out laughter. Despite being married for 9 years, they still showed affection like newlyweds.

The couple visited Soho House Berlin, a boutique store in Berlin. Soho House is a social club exclusively for members established in the UK in 1995. It operates in over 20 locations worldwide, including New York, Toronto, and Barcelona. Soho House Berlin is located in a building that dates back to the 1920s, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience the historical ambiance of Berlin.

The boutique shop, hotel, and restaurant on the first floor are open to non-members, making it accessible for anyone to visit. It’s a cultural complex where you can enjoy coffee and shopping.

Yoon Seung Ah found a coat she liked here, but after seeing its price of $6,750, she quickly decided against it, which drew laughter. Afterward, the couple searched for a Korean restaurant and enjoyed dishes like kimchi stew, pancake, and stir-fried pork.

The couple also visited Bonanza Coffee, which opened in Berlin in 2006 and is a globally renowned coffee shop. It’s known as one of the top three coffee shops in Berlin and has been recognized as one of the 25 cafes to visit before you die and one of the top five cafes in Europe.

Bonanza Coffee offers fair-trade coffee and uses light roasting methods to ensure freshness. It is known for its acidic beans, and its latte is especially popular. Bonanza Coffee, which can be enjoyed in Berlin, opened in Korea in 2022.

While waiting for her coffee, Yoon Seung Ah mentioned that she was struggling with jet lag and hunger. The couple spent 5 fulfilling days in Berlin before departing.
