Hypertensive Man Dies During Intercourse
Suddenly Complains of Difficulty Breathing
Risk of Arrhythmia, Stroke Due to Increased Blood Pressure
A shocking story has emerged of a man suffering from hypertension who died during intercourse with his wife.
According to the online outlet Sanook, on April 19, the 66-year-old man lost consciousness and died while having sex with his wife.
The wife said, “My husband had been suffering from high blood pressure for the past six months and had to be hospitalized, but his condition significantly improved, and he was discharged earlier this year. “
Due to the man’s health, the wife had not had intercourse with him for a long time.
After his condition stabilized and he was discharged, the couple had sex for the first time in a long while.
The pleasant mood was short-lived as the man suddenly complained of difficulty breathing during intercourse.
Upon seeing this, his wife quickly called an ambulance, but the man ultimately died while being transported to the hospital.
The wife lamented, “If I hadn’t had sex with my husband, he might not have died,” blaming herself.
A hospital in Yunnan Province, China, explained, “During intercourse, the sympathetic nervous system is stimulated, causing blood vessels to contract and heart rate and blood pressure to increase. For people with cardiovascular disease, this can lead to arrhythmia and stroke.
