A shocking story indicates that consuming raw eggs can harm health.

Sanook reported the story of a 4-year-old child who was diagnosed with stomach cancer after eating raw eggs daily.

Having heard rumors that eating raw eggs can boost immunity and help children grow, a grandmother began feeding her grandson raw eggs.

Shortly after consuming raw eggs given to him by his grandmother, the grandson developed abdominal pain and lost his appetite, refusing to eat.

Seeing her grandson becoming increasingly emaciated, the grandmother quickly took him to the hospital for examination.

The examination revealed that he had stomach cancer, and the doctor warned the grandmother about the dangers of raw eggs.

The doctor cautioned, “Raw eggs contain salmonella bacteria, which harms health.”

Raw eggs were reported to have much lower nutritional value than cooked eggs, and the protein digestibility is higher in cooked eggs than in raw ones.

Salmonella bacteria, commonly found in raw eggs, can cause severe food poisoning and be a cause of stomach cancer when infected.

This issue is especially common in young children, so it is essential to ensure they only consume appropriately cooked eggs.
