Recently, online media ‘Sanook’ reported that a Singaporean woman, Michelle Ng, has passed away.
Michelle was once a runner and a cyclist who led a healthy life. In particular, Michelle was busy running her own business.
However, unfortunately, Michelle was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 27, and by the end of 2022, the tumor had spread to other parts of her body.
Not wanting to meet her death lying purposelessly in bed, Michelle decided to find a way to depart with a smile.
Michelle invited 30 of her most beloved family members, relatives, and friends to hold a funeral while she was still alive.
According to HCA Hospice Care, friends gathered for Michelle, who wanted to leave with a smile and a grand funeral was held in a festive atmosphere, with singers singing, just like a birthday party.
Michelle exchanged letters with relatives and friends at her funeral and fulfilled her dream of “Sharing her love, food, music, and books with her friends.”
At her funeral, Michelle said, “I want to call this a living funeral. I think death is something very close to our hearts, not something scary,” delivering her calm feelings about death.
She continued to share her thoughts, “Thank you for making me happy today. I appreciate every laughter I hear and every smile I see.”
In the end, Michelle left the world peacefully just 10 days after celebrating her living funeral.
