Reportedly, in Hebei, China, the student lost consciousness and passed away during a physics class in March last year after being asked to stand as punishment for breaking the rules.
The released CCTV footage shows the student collapsing on the floor after enduring 20 minutes of standing.
The male student had a severe seizure, but the physics teacher continued with the class without intervening.
Only after a while did the physics teacher call the student’s homeroom teacher for assistance in moving the boy.
