A report revealing the country with the highest rate of cheating in the world has sparked interest.
Sanook reported that Thailand is the country with the highest rate of infidelity worldwide.
When people think of countries where cheating is common, Japan, France, and Italy usually come to mind.
However, according to the American website Insider Monkey, while France and Italy were included, neither ranked in the top three.
Surprisingly, Thailand, not Japan, was ranked as the country with the highest rate of cheating, with a reported rate of 51%.
According to Insider Monkey, citing a report from Pew Research, Thailand has the highest rate of cheating in the world.
This is attributed to the widespread local sexual culture and the development of the sex industry, which is thought to increase the likelihood of infidelity.
Denmark, known for its open sexual culture, comes in second with a 46% rate, showing that cheating isn’t limited to countries with lower economic development.
Germany (45%), Italy (45%), and France (43%) are also among the countries with the highest rates of cheating.
The report points out that, beyond cultural factors, emotional issues like psychological problems, low self-esteem, anger, lack of love, and a desire for change also play a significant role in high cheating rates.
