Jeep has unveiled part of its premium all-electric SUV, the Wagoneer S, as part of its carbon-neutral strategy through some social media.
The Wagoneer S is a premium Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and the flagship model for expanding Jeep’s legendary SUV lineup. The Wagoneer S will begin sales in the U.S. market this fall, with plans to expand to major global markets thereafter.
The Wagoneer S boasts 4xe performance, capable of traversing any terrain after that unique advanced technology and impressive driving performance. It has a top output of 600 horsepower and takes only 3.5 seconds to reach 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour) from a standstill. Considering aerodynamics, a sleek exterior design has been applied, and the iconic seven-slot grille symbolizing Jeep has been equipped with LEDs for the first time in its class.
Meanwhile, the launch of the Wagoneer S is part of Jeep brand’s global electrification strategy. The 4xe replaces the role of the new 4×4, realizing the Jeep brand’s vision of “Zero Emission Freedom.” Zero Emission Freedom actively promotes the carbon neutrality goal of Stellantis Group’s Dare Forward 2030 long-term strategy.
